CONSULTANTS TO KEW GARDENS POISED TO MOVE INTO BASINGSTOKE

 

 

Data Integration Ltd, a privately owned provider of tailor made networks and network management services, has acquired 6,300 sq ft of office space on a new lease at Network House on Basing View in Basingstoke.  DI will move their staff from their Putney location over the forthcoming months as they grow the business, servicing major clients in both public and private sectors.

 

Key clients of the business include The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, The University of Reading, Westland, Eton College and the University of Exeter.

 

Richard Thomas of joint letting agents BDT commented … “The exact details of the transaction are confidential, however, the terms agreed with DI were very attractive, and demonstrate some of the opportunities presently available in an oversupplied office market for prospective tenants.”

 

He added …”This transaction was the final occupational lease deal of 2009 and brought to a close a tough year for the Basingstoke and North Hampshire commercial property market, albeit the second half was more active than the first two quarters.  We are anticipating an improvement in leasing activity as companies return to a more normalised level of trading during the course of 2010, and we certainly welcome that.”

 

The owners of Network House have adopted an aggressive approach to remarketing the vacant space in the building, spearheaded by reducing and capping the running costs and service charges payable by new tenants.  They also continue to offer attractive rent free incentives.
